Utah Rails to Trails Bike Trip
Rates & Info
Dinosaur Expeditions' Park City rails-to-trails bike trip offers some of the best in Utah mountain biking without having to leave the general Salt Lake area.
Long before Park City became a mountain resort city, it was a small mining town with a railroad running directly into downtown. Today, the trains no longer run so the track has been converted into an excellent way to see the area by bicycle. Starting in our shop on Park City's historic main street, cruise down the gently sloping grade through town and out to surrounding areas.
After leaving the city, the trail takes riders across a wide mountain valley providing awe inspiring views of the Park City ridgeline and the foothills to the Uinta mountains. Finally, the trail flows through a smaller canyon and into the town of Wanship, Utah. Here, the riders can be either transported back to Park City to end their adventure or head toward lunch. This makes the Rails-to-Trails Bike Trip excellent in combination with the Weber River Trip!
