SUPPORT TRIPS
Our kayak support trips allow you to enjoy the outdoors without carrying all the outdoor gear. Keep what you need for your daytime comfort and let us haul the rest. Meals and gear will be waiting at each night's camp.

OUR FOOD
Every tour company takes pride in providing great food on and we are no exception. With over a bazillion years of combined experience, we have come up with some mighty tasty and sometimes unusual outdoor fare. We make every attempt to keep our meals nutritious, low in fat and cholesterol, and provide vast quantities of fruit, vegetables, grains and generally healthy food. Special diets are easy to accommodate. We're heart smart.

RIVER TRIP SIZE
We usually run trips with less than 18 passengers on the Green and Yampa River trips. Arrangements can be made for groups of any size on the other rivers. We can accommodate a personal family trip or an entire company outing.

BEVERAGES
On all trips we provide plenty of water, lemonade and ice. You are welcome to bring soft drinks which we will store and chill for you. We do not provide beer, liquor or wine. However, you are welcome to bring your own. Please bring beer in cans and liquor and wine in plastic containers. No glass please.

OUR BOATS
All our boats are new, or almost new, powered by oars (motors are not allowed in Dinosaur National Monument) and range in size from 14-18 feet. Depending on the size of the trip and boat, we usual carry 3-4 passengers in each boat.

On every trip, except extreme high water, we bring along one or two "rubber duckies" (inflatable kayaks) for our guests to try. Usually several passengers will use them for the entire trip, switching on and off during the day. They are lots of fun in the smaller rapids and can be quite challenging in the large ones. We do reserve the right to not allow passengers to run the biggest rapids in the duckies unless proven to be proficient.

CAMPING EQUIPMENT
Sleeping kits are available for $35 per person for the trip. Each kit includes: sleeping bag, sleeping pad, ground cloth and tent. Please let us know if you will need these when you contact us for reservations.

CAMERAS AND FILM
Bring your camera and plenty of film. We provide water-resistant ammo cans for day use and these will usually keep your camera dry on the river, but can not be guaranteed. We suggest you pack your camera in a high tech plastic foam lined case available at most camera and outdoor supply stores, or use a zip-lock plastic bag. Video cameras are can be harder to protect. If you have a compact model and wish to bring it, just figure out some way of protecting it from the inevitable.

MOUNTAIN BIKE RENTALS
Bike rentals will be available. When contacting us about a reservation, let us know you will need a bicycle.

Beginners will enjoy long gentle downhills and flats while more advanced riders will enjoy tight singletrack, long climbs, and screaming downhills. Just let us know what you would like to see and let us layout the perfect tour for you or your group!
